When you sit down with your agent to write up the offer, ask yourself, "How much do I want this home?"  

When you are in a seller's market, this simply means that the inventory of homes for sale are limited. So, when you do find the home you want, you do not want to waste time offering too much less because there may be other buyers in line for the same home. 

Homes in a certain price range experience this more than others. You want to consult with your Realtor when writing an offer what the activity is for homes in your price range. Are they receiving multiple offers? Should you offer full price? What are your chances of getting the offer accepted if you offer less? How many days has the home been on the market? Your Realtor has knowledge and experience to better guide you when writing an offer to purchase a home.
